1.1 About Provo

provo logo.svg

Provo™ is a web application developed by the Centre for Advanced Technologies in Online Safety (CATOS) based on the open technical standards by the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) to verify the authenticity and provenance of different media types. Provo™ aims to encourage industry adoption of content provenance solutions.

Recognizing that technical difficulties and a lack of seamless processes have hindered widespread adoption, Provo™ is designed to overcome the last-mile adoption challenges by providing an intuitive, user-friendly solution that users can adopt immediately. By simplifying the integration and implementation of C2PA standards, Provo™ ensures that users can easily incorporate content authenticity protocols into their workflows without disruption.
