Provo™ is a web application developed by the Centre for Advanced Technologies in Online Safety (CATOS) based on the open technical standards by the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) to verify the authenticity and provenance of different media types. Provo™ aims to encourage industry adoption of content provenance solutions.
Recognizing that technical difficulties and a lack of seamless processes have hindered widespread adoption, Provo™ is designed to overcome the last-mile adoption challenges by providing an intuitive, user-friendly solution that users can adopt immediately. By simplifying the integration and implementation of C2PA standards, Provo™ ensures that users can easily incorporate content authenticity protocols into their workflows without disruption.

Centre for Advanced Technologies in Online Safety (CATOS) is the host of the Online Trust and Safety (OTS) Research Programme. The Online Trust and Safety (OTS) Research Programme is a funding initiative by the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI), part of the Research, Innovation, and Enterprise 2025 (RIE2025) programme under the Smart Nation and Digital Economy (SNDE) domain. Its goal is to develop technologies that combat online harms and focus on impactful use cases.
Supported by MDDI, the National Research Foundation (NRF), and other partners, the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) established the Centre for Advanced Technologies in Online Safety (CATOS) to host this flagship programme.
